Quickstart
Create an account, connect your GitHub organization, and see your first workflow data in about five minutes.
Create your account
Go to app.gitera.io and register. You can sign up with your email address or with GitHub OAuth — either works, OAuth is one click faster.
Create or join an organization
After sign-in, create a new organization or accept an invitation from a teammate. Everything in Gitera — repositories, runs, logs, settings — belongs to an organization.
Install the Gitera GitHub App
Open Settings → GitHub integration and install the GitHub App on the GitHub organization you want to observe. Choose all repositories or a selected list — you can change the scope later in GitHub settings.
Wait for the initial sync
Gitera pulls your repositories, workflows, and historical workflow runs, so the dashboard fills in with real data. The first sync takes from seconds to a few minutes depending on organization size; a sync indicator in the dashboard shows progress.
Note: logs are not backfilled — Log Search collects job logs only for runs that start after the connection.
Explore the dashboard
Open the Dashboard — KPI cards, the activity heatmap, top failing repositories, and the slowest workflows should already be populated.
New workflow runs arrive in near real time through GitHub webhooks — you do not need to re-sync after the initial load.
