Repositories
Monitor repository activity, protections, commits, and stale branches across your organization.
/repos gives an organization-wide view of every connected repository — activity, default-branch protection, storage footprint, and branch hygiene.
Overview
The Overview tab lists repositories with commit activity for the selected time range, protection status, and storage size. Filter by public or private visibility, or search by repository name.
Click a repository's branch count to open a dialog of that repo's branches (last activity, author, and commit message).
Commits
The Commits tab charts commit frequency over time and how commits are distributed across repositories in the selected window.
Branches
The Branches tab aggregates every synced branch across the organization into one table:
- Branch-age spectrum: All, 1+ month, 3+ months, and 6+ months of inactivity.
- Multi-select Repository and Author filters with removable chips.
- Search by repository name, branch name, or author; Reset filters clears everything.
- Export downloads the currently filtered list as CSV, grouped by repository or by author.
- Sort by repository, branch, last activity, or author.
- Paginated results (10 per page); long branch names truncate with a hover tooltip for the full name.
- Protected branches show a shield indicator.
Branch data comes from Gitera's repository sync into repository_branches — the same store behind the per-repo branch dialog — not a live GitHub call on each page load. After connecting new repositories, wait for sync to finish before expecting branches to appear.
